Why Renewables?
We believe that the transition to renewable energy is essential for ensuring a sustainable, secure, and healthy future, leaving behind the Wales we want for generations to come.
Through the production of clean, green power we are not only protecting the environment but also benefiting the economy, enhancing public health and increasing our energy security in an increasingly volatile world.
Why do we need to take action?
Climate change refers to long-term shifts and alterations in temperature, rainfall, and other atmospheric conditions on Earth.
It encompasses both natural processes and recent, rapid changes driven by human activities, primarily the burning of fossil fuels to power our everyday lives.
Changes to our climate have occurred naturally over millions of years, but for the last 200 years or so, human activity has significantly increased the pace of climate change, as demonstrated in the graph opposite.
We believe that urgent action is needed to halt the pace of climate change and leave the world a better place for future generations.

The Opportunity for Wales
This video from Renewable UK Cymru highlights a number of ways that Wales can benefit from the transition to a net zero world…
What are Welsh Government doing?
Wales has set ambitious targets to achieve 100% of its electricity production from renewable sources by 2035, with the overall aim of reaching net zero by 2050.
We fully endorse and embrace the recommendations of Welsh Government’s development plan for Wales, which sets out a number of key goals we need to achieve by 2040. Where possible, we make sure all of our plans and proposals take these goals into account.
Wales was also the first country to establish the role of Future Generations Commissioner, ensuring that decisions made today consider the long-term impact on the well-being of future generations.
All of our proposals aim to meet the 7 Well-being goals established by this office, which you can see opposite.
What are we doing?
We are a Bridgend-based developer, utilising Wales’ abundant natural resources to develop award-winning, integrated energy systems that offer clean, affordable power while promoting local economic growth and enhancing community wellbeing.
