Cenin proud to exhibit at Precast 2018

28 June 2018

On the 17th May 2018 the good and the great of the British Precast Association met at the new venue of Silverstone Circuit in Northamptonshire to discuss all things precast. Sponsored by Trimble Tekla, the event was attended by more than 400 delegates and included top speakers from the Health and Safety Executive (HSE), the Construction Products Association (CPA) and the Building Research Establishment (BRE).

Whilst the day saw a number of keynote speakers and demonstrations we were particularly impressed by Sir Ken Knight - Chair of Independent Expert Advisory spoke about the learnings following Grenfell, the repercussions in the construction sector, which will be felt for years to come.

A record number of exhibitors were showcasing their products at the event and Cenin were proud to be one of those showing their wares. On our stand we focused on our Cencrete Beneficiated Fly Ash product, a quality product whose performance is verified by third party UKAS accredited laboratories, specifically developed for the precast industry.

We spoke to many of the delegates, including new and existing customers. Our customers told us of how Cenin’s Beneficiated fly ash has given excellent results which have reduced press times, increased filter life longevity and improved the aesthetic look of their concrete products with crisper, sharper and stronger corners and edges. This is due to our careful selection of raw materials and how we use our advanced monitoring & control processes to manufacture our products to the highest quality and consistency.

One of our favourite topics, Sustainability, was discussed by many of our existing and potential customers relating to the supply of flay ash going forward. Richard Stroud explained that we are currently using existing stock piles and by means of drying and beneficiation we are confident to keep up with supply and demand for the foreseeable future using our existing techniques and processes. Should you wish to discuss ash supply then please contact Richard Stroud on 01656 789970 or email info@cenin.co.uk.

Thankyou to all that visited the stand. We hope you enjoyed your visit and found our products, their performances and long-term availability an interesting topic.

We look forward to seeing all and attending in 2019!
